We are announcing the planned end-of-life (EOL) of the Windows Server 2019 Image Family for use as Frame workload VMs across all supported infrastructure platforms.
This process will happen in two phases:
Phase 1: April 19, 2025
- Customers will no longer be able to create new Accounts using the Windows Server 2019 Image Family. Existing Accounts using Windows Server 2019 will be unaffected and customers will continue to be supported.
Phase 2: July 31, 2025
- Accounts using the Windows Server 2019 Image Family will no longer be supported by Frame and user sessions to these Accounts may be impacted.
Customers currently using the Windows Server 2019 Image Family should begin the process of creating and migrating to new Accounts using either Windows Server 2022 or Windows Server 2025.
