We are announcing the planned end-of-life (EOL) of the Windows Server 2019 Image Family for use as Frame workload VMs across all supported infrastructure platforms.
This process will happen in two phases:
Phase 1: April 19, 2025
Phase 2: July 31, 2025
Customers currently using the Windows Server 2019 Image Family should begin the process of creating and migrating to new Accounts using either Windows Server 2022 or Windows Server 2025.

We are excited to announce that Frame now supports Dizzion C3 as an authentication provider!
Administrators can now use the same credentials they use to access support.dizzion.com and c3.dizzion.com to access Frame. See instructions here on how to enable Dizzion C3 as an authentication provider for Frame.
Currently, you must have the Frame Customer Admin role assigned in Dizzion C3 to access Frame. Users with this role will automatically be assigned the Customer Administrator role within Frame. Please contact your Dizzion Customer Success Manager or csm@dizzion.com if you believe you should have this role.
What’s included in this announcement:
We are delighted to announce that our Next Gen Frame experience is now generally available (GA)! This enhanced version of our terminal offers a modernized user interface with improvements to usability, making it easier to maximize screen real estate and streamline your workflows.
We previously announced the deployment of our new Frame stateless driver (OFS) to all Frame Accounts. This process is now complete, and we are ready to begin enabling the new driver in a phased approach.
The first Frame Accounts that will begin utilizing the new driver will be any non-persistent accounts using either a Windows 11 or Windows Server 2022 base image (this is applicable across all Early Adopter, Standard, and Trailing deployment groups).
These accounts will be migrated to OFS on Monday, September 2, 2024. By default, only the Sandbox VM for each account will have OFS enabled. Production pool VMs will not be migrated to OFS until a Publish is run. Any new Windows 11 or Windows Server 2022 non-persistent accounts created after September 2, 2024, will automatically utilize OFS.
We are excited to announce the upcoming GA release of our new stateless driver (OFS)! This new driver will be replacing our existing stateless mechanism for non-persistent Windows VMs, bringing enhanced security and performance.
Effective August 15, 2024, we have begun including the new OFS driver with all new Frame Agent releases. The driver will be installed but disabled. Currently, all Frame Accounts in the Early Adopters deployment group (Dashboard > Settings > Deployment Group) have received the new driver. We plan to deploy the driver to all remaining accounts within the next 1-2 weeks. Once the driver is fully deployed, we will then begin enabling the driver in a phased approach (stay tuned for a separate announcement on timing).
In our continued effort to enhance our customer experience, we are consolidating our support portals. The Frame support portal (support.fra.me) will be integrated into the Dizzion support portal at support.dizzion.com.
We are excited to announce that starting with our upcoming Frame platform release on April 21, 2024, we will begin to roll out our newly redesigned Launchpad experience to an initial subset of customers. We expect to fully roll out the new Launchpad to all remaining customers as part of our scheduled platform release on May 12, 2024.
