Frame Platform 08-10-2025
NOTIFICATION EMAIL
- Emails sent from the Dizzion DaaS platform will now come from a new address: no-reply@use.difr.com. This change improves visibility and helps phase out legacy email domains.
Frame Console 4.34.0
Added:
- Admins can now reset or clone sandboxes to images with a different OS version (e.g., Windows 10 to Windows 11), reducing support needs and streamlining upgrade workflows.
[NOTE]: Please ensure compliance with Microsoft licensing and other applicable requirements when switching between different operating systems.
In-product warnings for OS changes will be added in a future release.
-
Administrators can now rename both the SGA Cluster and its individual nodes, providing better flexibility and clarity in cluster management (FRAME-1685).
-
Administrators can now enable AWS Workspaces Core 'Managed Instances' in Customer Settings > Tech Preview Features.
[IMPORTANT]: Before enabling this feature, your AWS Cloud Stack must support the new infrastructure requirements. You can fulfill this in one of two ways:
- Option 1 -- Manually add the following IAM permissions in policy for role Frame-Frame-High-Orchestrator-Role-Prod:
"ec2:DescribeInstanceTypeOfferings",
"ec2:DescribeInstanceTypes",
"ec2:DescribeRegions",
"iam:CreateRole",
"iam:AttachRolePolicy",
"workspaces-instances:*"
- Option 2 -- Recreate the Stack via the Console:
Navigate to Cloud Accounts, select your AWS account, click Update, then on the Configuration page choose Recreate Stack and follow the prompts.
[NOTE]: Recreating the stack will automatically apply all necessary IAM permissions required for Dizzion Cloud PC and AWS WorkSpaces V2 functionality.
Fixed:
- Resolved an issue where adding multiple FQDNs in the classic domain join settings incorrectly triggered a validation error (FRAME-1687).
Frame Terminal v7.0.0.19rc2
Added:
- Added support for sending LEFT_SHIFT and RIGHT_SHIFT to the terminal for more consistent input handling.
Tech Preview Feature: Session Analytics (Dizzion Overwatch)
Dizzion Overwatch is an observability and analytics solution designed for Administrators and is integrated into Dizzion's DaaS and Cloud PC platforms. It delivers near real-time, crystal-clear visibility into the Digital Employee Experience (DEX) across all users and environments. The Overwatch agent is embedded directly into each user Workload VM and continuously captures telemetry across four key dimensions:
-
Network and streaming quality,
-
System health,
-
Application performance,
-
Login performance.
[IMPORTANT]: Dizzion Overwatch Session Analytics is now available as a Tech Preview and requires Frame Server version 9.4 or higher and is being gradually enabled by the Dizzion team over the coming weeks. There is no action required from administrators to enable it. If your organization prefers not to participate in this Tech Preview, you will have the option to opt out. To test the feature once enabled, start a session and allow up to 6 minutes for data to be collected. Then go to Sessions, locate the relevant session, click the three dots, and select Analytics to view session-level insights.
[NOTE]: There is no need to contact support regarding availability, as the rollout is being managed automatically. If you wish to opt out after the feature has been enabled for your organization, simply go toCustomer Settings → Tech Preview Features and disable the Session Analytics slider. A blog post will be published very soon that further explains Dizzion Overwatch in more detail.
