Frame Console 4.25.2​

Added:

  • Support for cloning Persistent Desktop (PD) workloads between Accounts. Admins can initiate this action from the VMs page for each desktop. Source and destination accounts must share the same Cloud Account and Image Family. If the source account is domain-joined, the destination account must also be domain-joined to the same Active Directory Domain. Read our official documentation for more details. (FRAME-1284)
  • Various UI and text improvements to the Frame Challenges menu for better clarity and usability. (FRAME-1599)
  • The Audio Playback session setting (enabled by default) is now renamed to Audio playback on session start for additional clarity. (FRAME-1616)

  • [GCP] Additional check to help ensure inputted Project ID value matches GCP naming requirements when onboarding a Project ID for use as a Cloud Account.

Fixed:

  • The Networking tab in Frame accounts configured with AHV now correctly displays attached SGA 4 instances.
  • Resolved an issue where the UI elements at the top of the Users > Authentication page were not displaying correctly. (FRAME-1592)
  • Resolved an issue that prevented the Account Support Role from being able to shadow user sessions. (FRAME-1473)
  • [Admin API] Issue where attempting to create a Utility Server/Pool via Admin API
    (/api/rest/v1/accounts/{account_id}/utility_pools) returned a 500 error.

Frame Gateway 11.27.0​

Added:

  • [Nutanix] Improved handling of VM recovery (initiate automatic reboot of Running VMs) after Cloud Account recovers from being unavailable. (FRAME-1600)

Frame Next Gen Terminal​

Added:

  • Ability to configure user-facing VM reboot notifications for suspended sessions running on non-persistent VMs. Admins can configure custom notification times (e.g., 1 week, 4 days, 2 hours before next scheduled reboot). User will be shown the notification when resuming a suspended VM within the configured time. Notification pop-up window can be manually dismissed by the user.

  • [Advanced Terminal Argument] scanInputMediaDeviceOnce can be configured to change the scanning behavior for available webcams/microphones to only once per session (when the user first interacts with the relevant device option in the Frame Menu). The default behavior is to rescan each time the user interacts with the device option.
