Frame Console 3.58.1​

Added:

  • Ability to specify which version of Frame Terminal new sessions will utilize, configured on a per Account or Launchpad basis:

    • Latest (current GA version) - Default
    • Previous (previous GA version)
    • Experimental (EA version)

  • Ability to distinguish elasticity changes in production and test pools with the addition of the poolkind field in the elasticity log files obtained from _Analytics > Elasticity > Download CSV.

  • [Admin API] /accounts/:account_id/servers/:server_external_id/start endpoint to start a server and /accounts/:account_id/servers/:server_external_id/stop endpoint to stop a server.

  • [Admin API] /accounts/:account_id/servers/:server_external_id/update_persistent_desktop_instance_type endpoint to change the instance type of a persistent desktop VM.

Removed:

  • [Admin API] Removed POST /api/rest/v1/accounts/{id}/deactivate to avoid redundancy as there is an equivalent endpoint DELETE /api/rest/v1/accounts/{id}.

Fixed:

  • Issue during Account creation wizard where administrator cannot select Use Frame base image once Bring your own base image is selected.

  • Issue where page may automatically refresh when an administrator hovers their mouse cursor over a GPU instance type name.

  • Additional reliability fixes.

Frame Terminal 6.32.0​

Added:

  • Support for multiple Frame Terminal versions (Latest, Previous, Experimental).

Fixed:

  • Session will now disconnect (instead of close) if the workload VM experiences an issue with video encoding (error code 4011).

  • Additional reliability fixes.

Frame Gateway 10.2.0​

Added:

  • [GCP] Ability to specify a service account (email address) to GCP VM instances created by Frame. The service account can be specified at the Frame Cloud Account level (by default, all VMs created within the Cloud Account will have this service account assigned) or for a specific Account. The service account specified for an Account takes precedence over the service account specified for the Cloud Account. To specify a GCP service account, customers will need to open a support case.

Administrators must ensure that the Service Account User Role roles/iam.serviceAccountUser is granted to the Frame GCP Service Account in order to implement the feature listed above.
