Frame Console 4.9.0
Added:
- New Launchpad experience will be rolled out to the first subset of customer Accounts.
- [GCP] Ability to select the following disk types when creating a new Account in GCP:
- SSD (default)
- Balanced (decreased disk performance, lower cost)
- The tooltip that appears when hovering over a specific Volume on the Volume Backups page for non-persistent accounts now shows the Frame User UUID in addition to the Frame Volume ID. This update ensures administrators can match volumes to the corresponding users within their cloud infrastructure in a self-service manner.
Fixed:
- Issue where Deployment Group number instead of friendly name is displayed.
- Incorrect documentation link on the Advanced Integrations page within Launchpad settings.
- Issue where restoring a Persistent Desktop fails if the root disk is resized before restoring.
- Additional cosmetic and reliability fixes.
Frame Gateway 11.9.0
Added:
- [AHV] Ability to configure on a per Account basis the amount of time Frame will wait for Nutanix Prism to confirm a VM is in a Stopped state after a graceful shutdown (ACPI) request is indicated as complete before attempting a force shutdown request. Default is 5 seconds.
note
This setting can only be configured by Dizzion Support at this time. Please open a support case if you require this setting changed.
Fixed:
- [GCP] Issue when changing the Instance Type of a VM from a GPU-enabled instance to a CPU-only instance may fail.
- [AHV] Issue where Volume Backups still shows as available when the VM snapshots were manually deleted by the customer from within the Nutanix protection domain.
- Additional reliability fixes.
